This Privacy Policy describes how Vchar3 LLC and its related companies collect, use and share personal information of users of the CareVen application and other related applications, our websites and any other applications or services of Vchar3 (the “Services”). Your use of the Services is also subject to our Terms of Use. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use in full to understand our privacy practices before using the Services. By using the Services, you acknowledge you have read and understood the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

WHAT WE COLLECT

Information You Give Us:

• You may browse the Site and download the CareVen App without providing us any Personal Information that expressly identifies you, however, in order to make full use of the CareVen Services as made available via the Site and/or the CareVen App, you will be required to register with us. When you register with us to create an account and become a member, we will ask you for certain Personal Information. In order to set up your account, you need to provide your email address and you will need to select a password. If you elect to add any other Personal Information to your Account we will collect that information and use it and share it as set forth below.


• As a Member, you may also set up one or more Profiles as well as Care Givers within the CareVen Services. The Profile may be personal to you and your healthcare or the subject of the Profile may be a child, parent or other loved one. Similarly, a Caregiver may be personal or a 3rd party cared provider. When you set up a Profile, you will be asked to provide Personal Information about the individual that is the subject of the Profile, whether yourself or your child, parent or other loved one. When you set up a Profile in the CareVen Services. we will collect and store any Information that you may elect to provide to us as part of the Profile Content, which may include but is not limited to medication information, gender, date of birth, personal contacts, photographs and files, notes on your symptoms and other journal information, medical treatment instructions, medical appointments, insurance information, your doctor’s address information, advance directives, and prescription refill information. In the event you set up a Profile that relates to someone other than yourself, you are solely responsible for ensuring that you have any and all consents and permissions to share that Personal Information with us and to use that information as part of the CareVen Services.


• You may provide us with Personal Information of a third party Caregiver, as contemplated by the CareVen Terms of Service, to access a Profile that you create. If you elect to invite any third party to access a Profile connected to your Account, we will ask you for such third party’s name and email address. We will send the third party emails inviting him or her to register for the CareVen Services. We store this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email. We cannot control whether such third party will elect to register for the CareVen Services.

OUR USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use your personal information as follows:

• We do not sell your personal information.
• to operate, maintain, and improve our products, and services.
• to provide our products and services to you.
• to send periodic reminders, notifications to you about your “appointments and medications”
• to respond to comments and questions and provide customer service.
• to send information (by email or application-based notifications) including confirmations, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages.
• to communicate to you (by email or application-based notifications) about promotions, upcoming events, and other news about products and services offered by us and selected partners.
• to protect, investigate, and deter against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
• Mobile phone numbers collected through our platform will be used exclusively for communicating with you about our services.

We note that over time, non-personal information could become personal information through regulatory developments, technological advancements, or co-mingling with personal information.

Mobile Information Policy and SMS Consent:

We respect your privacy. Mobile phone numbers collected through our platform will be used exclusively for communicating with you about our services. We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your mobile information (including your phone number and opt-in status) to third parties for their marketing purposes.
our mobile opt-in data is stored securely and is used only for the purposes you have explicitly agreed to. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying "STOP" to any message, or by updating your notification preferences in the CareVen app under Settings > Notifications.

HOW TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

• At any time you can may choose to delete your account and all your data by clicking on "Delete My Account" from within the app (under user settings). We will send you an email associated with your account to confirm account deletion. Once you confirm, by clicking on the link in the email, all your data will be deleted from our systems.
